Stewardship

Stewardship - A Way of Life
What We Do After We Say I Believe...

We ask people to commit to sharing their gifts in three ways:

  • Prayer - Daily prayer at home, with family members and weekend Mass with the parish community deepens our relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Service - Sharing the time and talent that God has given us allows us to participate in God's work on earth. There are hundreds of ways in which this is accomplished in our parish.
  • Sharing - The Scriptures ask us to tithe, by setting aside the first 10% of what we have for God and others. At St. Ann, we are asked to work towards that goal of tithing by giving 2.5% of our income to our parish, and a similar amout to other charities. This percentage of sacrificial giving is to be increased over time until we are tithing (10% total). This is our way of saying "thank you" to God for all that He has given us and for all that He has done for us.

As we practice stewardship in all three ways, may we continue to grow in our faith as families and as a parish!

Thank you to all our parish members who so generously give of their time, prayer, service and sharing!
